Fruit Service, run by the Marullo family, produces and distributes Bronte pistachio DOP and other nuts for gelato makers and pastry kitchens. The company has processed nuts in Bronte, Sicily, since 1960 and sources through a short Sicilian supply chain. Gelato shops use its shelled pistachios, pistachio granella and pure pistachio paste as flavour bases and toppings. Bronte pistachio DOP is a protected-origin variety grown around Bronte on the slopes of Mount Etna. Alongside pistachio, the range includes hazelnuts, almonds and pure nut pastes for professional kitchens.
